Lapsemeelsete paradiis/ A paradise for children and your inner child

Loomulikult Lilleputthammerisse!
See on maailma kõige fantastilisem perepark (olgu, ma pole Disneylandis käinud, aga no ma usun, et Lilleputthammer on üks ägedamaid kindlasti) Lillehammerist 16km kaugusel Øyeris . Britt Ida muideks elas just seal, kõrgel kõrgel mäe otsas, seepärast oli täna sinna sõit minu jaoks üsnagi emotsionaalne, palju toredaid hetki tuli meelde. Minu esimesed jõulud Norras, minu teised jõulud, minu kolmandad jõulud SUVEL koos Mariani, emme ja onu Tarmoga...Aga olgu, ärme kaldu teemast kõrvale.

Niisiis Lilleputthammer. Peaaegu sama vana kui mina (ehitust alustati 1982.aastal). See on Lillehammeri Storgata täpne minikoopia.

// I´ve been to Lilleputthammer once before, I think it was 14 years ago, I remember my sister was still a "baby" - 11yrs old. I could never have imagined to come back here with my own child. Now that Lillehammer is our hometown, I knew exactly where I need to go with her. To Lilleputthammer of course!
It is the most amazing family park on Earth (okay, I haven't been to Disneyland, but I am sure Lilleputthammer is at least one of the most incredible places to visit with children), located 16 km from Lillehammer in Øyeris. Britt Ida was from Øyer, by the way, she lived on the highest mountain in a little fairy tale house. Driving to Øyer was emotional for me, it brought back so many memories. My first Christmas in Norway, my second Christmas in Norway, my third Christmas in Norway in JULY with my sister, my mom and my uncle. I had wished my sister could see experience the "Britt Ida Christmas" and  when we some years later visited her and Camilla in July, she remembered it. We had a traditional Christmas dinner and got Christmas presents. I got my own kransekake forms...

But back to Lilleputthammer. Almost as old as me (built in 1982) and is a miniture version of Lillehammer's main street Storgata with many of the historical houses that were in Lillehammer in 1930's. To make it as true as possible old photos from Maihaugen were used as "architect drawings" and people from Lillehammer were interviewed.
What I liked most about Lilleputthammer, is that this is an amusement park with plenty to do for the smallest ones. My Britt Ida is soon two and I think this was  heaven on Earth for her. She didn't exactly say this, because she cannot talk yet, but her laughter and screaming spoke for itself. I felt I was a bit old for screaming, so I helt the screams inside me (because that's what grown ups do, right? Behave decently;)
If it will not be raining tomorrow, I will never trust yr.no again (at the moment it is showing sunshine tomorrow as well, although in the morning it showed heavy rain for tomorrow) and will be quite sad, because the biggest mistake you can make when visiting Lilleputthammer is to have only some hours. We had 3 hours and when they started to close Britt Ida refused to leave. I don't blame her. Lilleputthammer needs a whole day! I wish I could go back there every Saturday!

You still have a change to visit Lilleputthammer this season. Until 22 of August it is opened every day and after that until 3.10 every Saturday. Make sure you go there, when you are visiting this area. You will regret if you don't. My Estonian readers know that my motto is: "Never loose your childish innocence. It's the most important thing", so I tell you as well -  let your inner child have fun, forget "decent" behaviour, just have fun, enjoy life! Thank god for children, together with them it is much easier to forget the polite grown-up stuff;)

The ticket prices are: children under 3 yrs free of charge, 3-6 yrs 149 nok and 6+ 199nok

PS: I don't think I have met more childfriendly staff than here. Absolutely fantastic service everywhere. With a big and sincere smile.
